I can see this book being used across all over our grade levels from kindergarten through 6th grade. Children attention of pictures with words, increases their vocabulary, increases their knowledge base and it¡¯s just better program for use to switch to books from this type of series. It can give them historic back ground as well as grammatical background and all of that.

I think we should market it as a way to integrate literacy development into the history curriculum. History text are no fun to read. But who series are very attractive contents.

Even so, this book is still something fun to give to the kiddies for a fun & educational read. For American manga, the artwork is pretty good & little Obama is just adorable!

My son loves to read comics. However, I was always worried about his reading choices being educational. When I found this book, I knew it would be a book my son and I would enjoy together. Cartoons can easily be weak in story, but this book is rich in content. My son loves to read because it is fun. He was impressed by President Obama's will to dream.
